The Art of Invisibility
Workshops

The workshop introduces three-part polyphony, basing on the various musical scales of Georgian music, both folk and religious, and making use of basic musical formulas. Through a selected set of exercises shaped throughout ten years of both teaching and learning experience of the leaders, it aims at developing what may be called a sense of polyphony.

Actor’s Body – an Evoked Drama

The change, and an ability to recognise it, is the main and fundamental aspect of every drama.
How to make a live, visible stream of permanent movements, how to structurize them within their inner microdramaturgical potential?

A demonstration of  the process of transformation of musical source material into a dramatical form.
A particular example would be Armenian modal singing and Persian singing traditions. This meeting and live presentation aims to bring us closer to the phenomenon of transmission of modal singing.

Medeas. On Getting Across
Performance

Medeas is an unbroken sequence of actors’ actions and installations that coalesce into a poetic vision of rejection. The musical dramaturgy is built around Arabic, Persian and Kurdish songs sung by guest singers from Cairo, Tehran and Istanbul. Their voices are surrounded and contrasted with a sea of Latin confraternities.

Medeas is a music-based performance, but words are also present. Greek poet Dimitris Dimitriadis wrote a poem/choral for us called I Anthropos.

Armine, Sister
Performance

Spectacle tells a story of tragic events of Ormian Genocide which has taken place 100 years ago in Turkey, treating this as an universal and symbolic tale of human tragedy. The title Armine, Sister could be read as a beginning of an unfinished letter. The audience during the spectacle becomes a witness in action, unlike the regular spectator, everything they experience serves a purpose to pass the memory of this tragedy further on.

The cost of the tickets is 15.00 euros-regular,12.00 euros for students,10.00 euros(people for special needs,unemployed).The is also a special deal with a card which costs 60.00euros(for all the performances of the international forest festival).
