Actress, performer. She realized her education through collaboration with such artists as: Nhandan Chirco (Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards ), Giles Smith (Royal International Theater di Londra), Iñaki Azpillaga (Spagna), Carlos Alsina (Argentina), Norberto Presta and Sabine Uitz (Centro Produzione Teatrale Via Rosse) and Tania Kabarova (Derevo). In 2004 she took part in professional course for two years in Piccolo Teatro of Pontedera with Luisa Pasello, Silvia Pasello, Silvia Rubes, Roberto Bacci and Francesca della Monica.
Simona Sala is a cofounder of Italian company Sineglossa, with which has been working for several years now. She attempted to introduce ADD (Art du Deplacement) to her actor training collaborating with Laurent Piemontesi (founder of Yamakasi). Since 2011 she is working with Teatr ZAR(within structure of The Grotowski Institute in Wroclaw, Poland), cocreating Armine, Sister performance in domain of dramaturgy of physical actions. In 2016 together with Jarosław Fret she created Medeas. On Getting Across performance. Within her training she is developing research of the dynamics of tempo–rhythm, the accumulation of performer’s energy and its dramaturgical potentiality.
