Russian actress who graduated from the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute in Moscow in 2018. As a member of Teatr ZAR, she is involved in most of the ensemble’s projects. She performed in Teatr ZAR’s production Anhelli. The Howl at the Theatre Olympics in Japan and Russia. Katya has participated in international projects such as Actors Hub (2018) and Atelier de l’Acteur in Paris. She has also collaborated with IPAC theatre company in France.
With extensive experience in choral singing, her repertoire spans a wide musical range—from Orthodox and Catholic hymns to the music of various cultures.
Together with Teatr ZAR, she co-creates educational programs such as ZAR Intense and ZAR Sessions.
Additionally, Katya was an assistant director and coordinator of the project NUCLEAR WAR. look at how I’m forgetting you at the Grotowski Institute.
In 2024, she won the main prize at the 44th PPA Festival, the Tukan Off award, with the performance “niesamowita słowiańszczyzna” (dir. Henryk Mazurkiewicz, Tati Lemesheva, Katya Egorova).
